General Conditions of Study at CLT
- The language school Czech Language Training provides Czech language courses for foreigners in the form of standard, intensive and weekend group lessons, private courses, and pronunciation courses in-class or online or in accordance with the schedule set out in the student´s application.
- Starting from the 20th of each calendar month, students of standard, weekend and individual courses are offered the possibility to enrol to continue the course in the following month. Students of intensive courses are offered a continuation every two weeks.
- After booking a place on the course (by sending a completed application, or by receiving an already completed application form from the CLT office), the place is reserved for two working days from the date of booking. The course needs to be paid during these two working days and before the course starts at the latest. If the payment is not made during these two days, the place might be offered to another student. The school is not obliged to inform the student of such a cancellation.
- The enrolment in the course is considered complete only after payment of the tuition fee is made in full. The course must always be paid within two working days from the reservation and before the beginning of the course at the latest.
- The payment is considered made on the day when the relevant amount is a) deducted from the bank account of the student; b) paid in cash or by credit card at the school office; c) paid by card online; d) paid in the form of corporate benefits (the list of accepted benefits is published on the school website); e) paid by a gift voucher.
- The payment is nonreturnable and cannot be used as credit for later courses.
- The price for each course is set according to the school tariff published on the school´s website and is always featured on the application form of the specific course.
- The price covers the cost of tuition and the learning materials created by the school in reproduced and written form. The price does not include teaching materials such as books, CDs etc. We provide copies of the study materials for specific lessons for free in agreement with the student.
- At the enrolment for the following month (always before the start of the month), or at the enrolment for the next intensive course, the student can inform the school in writing about specific dates he/she is going to miss and receive a 50% discount on these missed lessons. This discount cannot be applied retroactively. A place on the course is reserved for the student for the duration of the course (always stated in the application) and he/she can ask the teacher via email for information about the content of the missed lessons and homework. It is not possible to substitute the missed lessons in other courses due to the nature of the courses.
