My beloved teacher – Professor Večerka – always used to tell us that we see the world through our language.

If we have no word for a certain type of flower, we cannot distinguish it from other flowers. If there is no word in our language for "yellow", then we see only light green.

I like to teach foreigners to see the world in a Czech way. And not only foreigners... my two little daughters already see the world in that way, too.
